This season is hard to believe. After beating Oregon State the Oregon Ducks are 12-0 and go the National Championship in Glendale, Arizona. Interestingly, what's good for the Ducks is good for me. On Thurs., I go to New York to cover LaMichael James at the Heisman trophy ceremony. Then, I'm off to Glendale to cover the Ducks from the time they arrive until the game is over...eight days total. Of course, I'll update this blog after that. Until then, here's a few of favorite images from the Civil War.

I've never shot a blowout like this. It was easy livin' as a photographer. We didn't have to run down to the other end of the field one single time. It was sunny and and 75 degrees. They fed us tacos in the press booth. It just couldn't have been an easier day. Here's the game story: http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindducksbeat/2010/09/oregon_football_well_wasnt_tha.html
Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day:
I had the pleasure of shooting both LaMichael James and Jacquizz Rodgers. They happen to the running backs for Oregon and Oregon State. They are two of the best running backs in the country. The photos ran side by side on our College Football preview section today. We also produced some short videos on the shoot. They seem to be a bit controversial. Beavers fans feel Jacquizz Rodgers was shorted in his video. I regret this may be true, but not intentionally. It just worked out that way. Read the comments below the video.

What a game! Here's my take from the Oregon v. USC game. Oregon won 47-20.
|The costume scene in Eugene|
Ross Hamilton and I headed out to the Autzen Stadium parking lot and see some costumes. Ross captured audio and I shot still images. I went over 500 images back to the office and Joel Odem did the edit. Ross and I think he did a great job. We had a good laugh. We did this before the game and by the time we saw it about 11:00 p.m., it seemed like we did it three days ago. A lot of water passed under the bridge by the time we shot the pre-game, the game, post-game and edited and sent the images.
I shot the Oregon Ducks beating the UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., Sat., Oct. 10, 2009.
