>The Can Man

>The Can Man is can-do dude. I shot this a long time ago in a distant city to the north. Since I'm lacking recent content, I thought I'd throw in a blast from the past.

>Turnley in Crate and Barrel

As part of this shopping thing Carrie put me through, we went to the new Crate and Barrel in Tualitin. They had a bunch of black and white poster framed and hanging on the wall in their displays. They were for sale, of course, for $259. This one was shot by Peter Turnley. I thought it was pretty cool for a photojournalist to have a photo in Crate and Barrel. The other photos were shot by bonafide art photographers. I figure they were marketed through Black Star since that's who the Turnley's were with for a time.

>Entertaining Myself in the Women's Dressing Room

Carrie is a professional level shoppper. On occassion, I'm forced to tag along from store to store and watch her go from rack to rack and sometimes she tries things on. This photo shows me in the dressing room trying to think of something to say that will dissuade her from actually making a purchase, but, at the same time, not pissing her off. It's a delicate process wrought with peril. One wrong word, and I'm in the doghouse. She asks if I like pink or green better. I say pink. She bought green. I give up.

>Beer and Secrets

>I shot this at a wedding in Portland toward the end of the reception. I thought it was kind of funny because it makes you wonder if the guy on the right was saying something about the woman in the middle which caused his girldfriend to hush him up. I have no idea.

Carrie and took Cole and Greta to the Oregon women's soccer game that I was shooting today. I was able to take them down on the field so they could shoot photos with their own digital cameras. While I had Cole with me I shot a photo of Carrie and Greta with a 600 mm lens sharing a treat.
