His name is Rock Light. Get it? Light is his name and there's light shining on him. I knew you would.

It only took me three days of waiting for the sun to pop out at the precise moment for this photo.

Actually, it was a mistake and I could never replicate it again. Better to be lucky than good sometimes.

I shot this last year with my Canon G3 point and shoot. I thought it was kind of funny so I moved it to my photo agency, Zumapress. They have a partnership with Workbook Stock. That agency asked me to provide a model release.

This photo could show up anywhere. I hope it does. That means money.

Trend Alert: Kickball! It's the next big thing. The college kids are playing kickball. The only difference between playground kickball and their version: Pabst Blue Ribbon and Camels...while on base.

It's a healthy and harmless activity done while smoking cigarettes and drinking beer.

I just found out I won an Award of Excellence in the sports action category for this photo in the Pictures of the Year (http://poyi.org/) competition.

I shot this photo at the Junior Olympics last year at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

This kid was dead last and went completely underwater in the steeplechase. I photographed him when he came up.

I appreciate the energy and enthusiasm for the game seen in the competition.
